Price and billing
Is Nemesis free?
Yes. 17 of the 23 modules are free on every server, including moderation, logging, raid protection, content filtering, support tickets, XP and leveling, reaction roles and translation. The free plan has no member cap, does not expire and does not ask for a card.
How much does it cost after that?
Free is $0. Pro is $10 per month for the first server and $8 per month for each additional Pro server. Elite is $22 per month for a five-server pack including Server Sync, with add-on servers at $12 per month after a full pack. The full comparison is on Pricing.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Pro and Elite include a 14-day trial. Cancel from the dashboard before it ends and you will not be charged. The free plan has no trial because it does not end.
How do I cancel or downgrade?
Billing is on your Discord account. Cancel from the dashboard, and paid modules switch off while the free modules keep working. There is no cancellation step for the free plan because no billing is attached to it.
Is it billed per member?
No. Billing is per server, not per member. A server with 50 members and one with 50,000 on the same plan pay the same.
Permissions and safety
Does Nemesis need the Administrator permission?
No, and it never requests it. It asks for 22 individual permissions shown as nine groups on the invite screen. You can read all of them before authorising, and remove any of them afterwards. Why this matters.
Does it store message content?
Log entries are posted to the Discord channels you configure rather than copied into a private database. Filters and moderation checks read message content only in servers where those modules are switched on. Detail is in the privacy policy.
What happens if I remove the bot?
Data collection stops immediately and server configuration is deleted 30 days later. Moderation and ticket records stay until you delete them or remove the bot. Server admins can clear a member's records with /databaseremove.
Setting it up
How do I add it to my server?
Open the invite page, sign in with Discord, choose a server you have Manage Server on, and review the permissions. Then run /setup in Discord to map staff roles, pick log channels and choose which modules start on.
Do I have to host it myself?
No. Nemesis runs continuously on the vendor's servers. There is nothing to download, no process to keep alive, and nothing that stops working when your machine is off.
Does it support prefix commands like !ban?
No. Nemesis uses 68 slash commands and 6 right-click commands. Every one is listed with a description on the commands page.
Someone is hidden in a channel and commands do not work there
That is a channel permission, not a bot bug. /setup names the channel and the permission that is missing.
Features
Are support tickets free?
Yes. Private tickets, staff assignment and archived transcripts are on the free plan with no ticket cap and no member cap. Pro adds ban appeals through the same queue and ticket analytics. More detail on free tickets.
Can a banned member appeal?
Yes, on Pro. They open a ticket from a DM, and the original punishment with its reason reaches the same inbox as support tickets. See ban appeals.
Can I import my levels from MEE6?
Yes. /importxp takes a MEE6 export, an Arcane export or a CSV of member id and XP. Members keep their total XP and leaderboard position. The old bot's level curve and moderation history do not transfer. See importing levels.
Can I run Nemesis alongside another bot?
Yes. Nothing requires Nemesis to be the only bot. Switch off overlapping modules so two bots do not delete the same message or log the same event twice.
Does Nemesis replace MEE6, Dyno or Carl-bot?
For moderation, logging, tickets and raid protection it can. It does not do music, games, deep custom command scripting or embed building, so servers that need those usually keep the other bot and use Nemesis for staff work. The comparison says which is better at what.
How many servers can I run?
Any number on the free plan, each configured separately. Pro covers one server per subscription with extras at $8. Elite is a five-server pack, and Server Sync links those servers so bans, punishment history, staff roles and XP are shared.

Is this the same bot as other bots called Nemesis?
No. Several unrelated Discord bots use the name. This one is at nemesisbot.xyz, and the domain in the invite link is how you tell which one you are reading about.
